Pocket winging can sometimes feel a bit technical, which is why we’ve designed the FRIGATE to be incredibly easy to use. Thanks to its stability, intuitive handling, comfort and exceptional upwind performance, it lets you focus on what’s important.

The FRIGATE stands out for its quick and effortless upwind ability. Its aerodynamic design generates a forward pull that facilitates going upwind, combining immediate power with efficient acceleration, making it also possible to use smaller foils. Stability and control are maintained, even when sheeted out, for an efficient, comfortable ride in all conditions.

Thanks to its stiff leading edge, optimized canopy tension and minimalist bridle system, the FRIGATE benefits from reduced drag and optimal airflow, bringing stability, performance and a wider wind range. 

This wide wind range means you can ride all day without changing size. In the low end, the FRIGATE offers constant power with minimal effort. In the high end, it remains stable and predictable, even when the wind increases.

The FRIGATE is easy and intuitive to handle, thanks to its short bridle and reassuring color code, limiting the risk of tangling. The top of the bar, the top bridles (A), and the leading edge all share the same color as well for greater ease and comprehension during the session.

Once deployed, it is immediately ready to perform. Ultra-compact, it can be stowed quickly, allowing you to set off again in the blink of an eye, and to spend more time downwinding and less time going upwind.

Its lightweight, ergonomic carbon bar ensures precise, comfortable steering. Even with one hand, every movement is smooth and intuitive.

The choice of materials reflects F-ONE’s standards. Made from Porcher fabric renowned for its quality, rigidity and durability, the FRIGATE retains its performance over time. This material also absorbs little water, guaranteeing lightness and ease during re-launch. Additionally, top-quality LIROS bridles offer excellent resistance to abrasion and dependability.
